Being famous for its Hakka cuisine, the mashed tea / thunder tea / ground tea (擂茶) at HERE. It was originally taken as a health restorative.
As for the case if taken as a dietary brew, it is served with rice and other vegetarian side dishes such as greens, tofu, pickled radish. Nowadays Lei Cha is also served as a main dish for lunch or dinner, where Chinese would sit around a big round table with their family and enjoy Lei Cha.
I would like to recommend this, as the Lei Cha tastes good with some light herbs and it is not too intense ✌️✌️✌️.
