One of the recommended restaurants for breakfast is HERE↗️, Restaurant Tong Nam Bee. Delicious and reasonably priced.

Kaya toast, half-boiled eggs, and the 3-layer tea, are among the popular. Waiting time is a bit longer especially during morning weekends / public holidays.

The Nasi Lemak, which is in square polystyrene packaging, is my best favourite, the mixed sambal is slightly sweetened, my hometown taste.
