The Leaning Tower a.k.a. “Menara Condong” at HERE was built in 1885 by contractor Leong Choon Chong. Originally housed the water tank that was supplied to the town area and reserved during drought and fire.

This tower is about 25 metres tall which is about the Leaning tower of Pisa which stands at 55 metres.

The tower has a “pagoda” shaped design. Although it looks like an eight-storey tower, the circular brick is actually three-storey high.
