Some would say the cake tastes like “traditional and old school” 🏫🏫🏫. Yes, despite being far from Kuala Lumpur City, it is worth a day trip if it happens to do a day trip there in search of other good food.

It was the shop owner’s Cheng Yew Ho who invented the pandan layer cake about 40 years ago, using a sturdier cake base to hold the dense jelly-like pandan filling (made from fresh pandan juice, santan and hoen kwe flour).
