HERE is one of the places to relax apart from its historical mark, the Telaga Simpul, simply meaning the “knot well”
This well is a catchment area for water that flows from the slopes of Bukit Pejajat.
An earlier record was made by Abdullah Bin Abd. Kadir Munsyi, (Abdullah Munsyi) on his journey to Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang in 1852. He noted that anyone who bathed at this well must knot the “pandan” leaf.
From other sources too, that were obtained after the independence, that who bathed at this well, has knoted the “lalang” leaf.
Address: Jalan Pantai Marina, 24000 Kemaman, Terengganu.
